Stepping back in time

Stepping back in time

A friend recently picked me up an old 35mm camera from an estate sale. I believe it is a 1956 Argus C3. It was fun getting used to it and bringing it along with me on a few shoots.

Below are some of the uncropped exposures from the roll.

In the future I think I’m going to shoot an entire roll of double exposures. Sounds like fun. Hopefully, I’ll get out of the habit of checking the back of the camera after pressing the shutter. Seemingly a hard habit to break.

  1. I look for old cameras at garage sales, too. Not just for the camera but also for undeveloped film in them. I’ve found some really great pics doing that and it’s like peering into the past.
